What is a Mortgage Broker?
Mortgage Broker:
One who helps mortgage borrowers find mortgage lenders.

The Mortgage Broker does not make the mortgage loan but collects and
transmits mortgage loan application documentation to mortgage lenders
for their approval.

The mortgage lender forwards the funds for the loan and makes the loan in
its name.

The Mortgage Broker receives compensation from the lender for its
services.
