South African Rand will be roughly 8.40 South African Rands to the USD. The
table shows a HDTFA of 1.04 which suggests that the February, 2013 currency
exchange rate could easily fall between 9.44 and 7.36 ZAR/USD. Links to

The South African Rand exchange rate for January, 2012 averaged 8.00 ZAR
to USD. That's 19.1 basis points lower than the December, 2011 rate of 8.19,
and 108 basis points higher than the January, 2011 rate of 6.92. The fall in the
ZAR/USD exchange rate from December to January provides evidence that the
short term trend in ZAR/USD is down. In other words, a weakening of the US
Dollar against the South African Rand in the short term. If that trend continues
in the currency market, we should see an average daily rate in February, 2012
that is close to 7.81.

The average South African Rand conversion rate over the last 12 months was
7.35. The average rate over the last 10 years was 7.57. The minimal change in
the South African Rands to dollars exchange rate over the last 12 months
compared to average conversion rates over the last 10 years serve as an
indicator that the long term trend in ZAR/USD is relatively flat.

The highest currency rate for ZAR/USD over the last 12 months was 8.19. The
lowest was 6.72. The market high was attained in December, 2011. The market
low was achieved in April, 2011.
